МІФОЛОГІЧНИЙ СВІТОГЛЯД ЯК ОСНОВА ФЕНТЕЗІЙНОГО СВІТОБУДІВНИЦТВА

Анотація

Стаття присвячена висвітленню особливостей прояву міфологічного світогляду у процесі фентезійного світобудівництва. Наявність зв’язку між явищем фентезі та стародавньою міфологією обґрунтовуєтьсячерез призму образівневідомого в метафорі ельфів та драконів, які розглядаються на базі світів Середзем’я та Кріну. Найістотніше взаємозв’язок міфу і вигаданого світу простежується у творчості Дж. Толкіна, який створює нову міфологію, використовуючи елементи стародавньої, найяскравіше відображення якої – германські міфи про ельфів, що містять риси норвезьких
та ісландських міфів.Образи драконів, які у світогляді людини є універсальним віддзеркаленням сили, влади та небезпеки, незалежно від національної специфіки засвоєної міфології розглядаються на основі світу Крін, створеного М. Вейс і Т. Хікмен.
The article is devoted to the consideration of the features of myt hological worldviewmanifestation in the process of fantasy worldbuilding. Connection between the phenomenon of fantasy and ancient mythology is justified through the prism of the images of unknown in the metaphor of elves and dragons, which are interpreted on the basis of the Middle-earth and Krynnworlds. The most significant relationship between myth and fantasy world can be traced in J. Tolkien’s works, as he creates a new mythology using elements of the ancient one, the most striking reflection of which is German myths about elves containing features of Norwegian and Icelandic myths. The images of dragons, which in the human worldview are a universal reflection of power, strength and danger, regardless of the mythology’snational specificity, are analyzed on the basis of the world of Krynncreated by M. Weis and T. Hickman.
